Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion
I have 18x8.5 + 40 and 18x11+63 wheels, run a 5mm spacer up front.

That set does seem to be in very good shape, but I must say they seem a little on the pricier side.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I do like the look of those wheels, and I think 18s are perfect for a 996 (as someone who has 19's, and would like to go back to 18s)
Wheels are such a personal thing though, if you like them go for it!
i have a millennium and Ive been happy with the chrome twists I found but theyre far from perfect.
These would be slightly lighter and probably have more broad appeal.
The only thing is that, IMO the chrome twists really accentuate the violet chromaflair.
I personally like the Techart rims and think they would look quite nice on your millennium edition. That set does seem to be in very good shape, but I must say they seem a little on the pricier side. In the last year I have seen 2 sets for sale in WA both between $1,000-1,300. I also would recommend hanging onto your ME wheels so you can always go back to the original look if you'd like. While the chrome twists are not at all desirable to most they are still tough to find.
I like them and if you like them I say go for it! I will say this...fitment is so important. When I first got my Apex SM-10 wheels I liked them a lot but I did not love them until I got my suspension dialed in and added some spacers up front. Now it's perfection. I don't know your set up but just something to keep in mind.
the Techart NB fitment is perfect - right to the edge of the wells
you're getting an extra inch of stance ( 8.5 and 10.5 ) on both axles without adding spacers
not mention they are not heavy
+ it's an easy wheel to paint if you're so inclined

is that your car? They look awesome. Funny thing is I have techart coilovers and I already have spacers. Theyd look sweet. Painting them chromaflair would be nuts! Im waiting on a job offer, if I get it Ill pull the trigger.
Are your offsets the same as ones listed for sale? I have 18x8.5 + 40 and 18x11+63 wheels, run a 5mm spacer up front. The offsets from the Marketplace ad is 18x8 + 50 and 18x10.5 + 60. So being .5 smaller and 10mm(.39) smaller in offset up front, youd be ok out back at 10.5 + 60 because the overall change is only .5 in width and 3mm(.12). Thats basic mathematics.
I just got a set of Gemballas in 18x9 +45 and 18x11 +62 that will fit almost flush. On top of that, I have a pair of CCW Corsair C14s in 18x9 + 50 that arent exactly flush to the fender. Lastly OEM GT3 wheels are wider and more aggressive than the TechArts at 18x8.5 +40 and 18x11 +63.
The rear wheels are going to be close to flush and he has a coilover suspension which Im assuming is lowered, that adds camber which also takes away the visual queue of the wheel+tire combo being flush because the angle is different. For reference my car has a M030 so its lowered a tad more than OEM.
same as the ones listed
18x8 - Offset 50
18x10.5 - Offset 60
his listing is erroneous, he has the fronts at 8" and the are 8.5"
show us the Gemballas ?
Oooh ok that changes a lot. Here are the Gemballas, photo was provided by the seller.
Had to contact RMC Miami to get confirmation that they are rebranded Work Brombacher wheels. He said that Gemballa rebranded a lot of things in that era and those are a very odd size to see since they were build for a NB 993 and not big body cars which was more their style.
All these wheels look great, and yes, wheels are a personal thing for sure, but my absolute favorite Porsche wheel is the 991 GT2RS wheel. I would love to see those on a 996.
Yep I bit my lip because my heavy-handed photoshop made the car look more green than it is. I was trying to show the range of the color, but in hindsight it was too much lol. Oh well, it's more encouragement to take new photos of my car. That photoshoot was in 2018. Thanks for the shoutout my friend.
