Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Replace unit and then programming the key(s), I'm guessing roughly $900-$1000
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

The door/alarm module under the driver seat of my 1999 went bad. No start, no windows (and windows are open...), alarm went off. I know there are services that I send my module and my key to and that charge about $600-$1200 for this. Possibly more if my module doesn't qualify for refurbishment (not all services are clear on this).
Given general busyness on my part I am thinking about giving it to the dealer. Any idea how much that costs? I looks like the part itself is only $550, so maybe it is not terrible. I would also want them to make another key. I can't easily have an estimate because I would have to tow it there.
How much are we talking about at a dealer? $1500? $3000? Anybody went through this?
nothing like a slimy dealer... In my experience, they are all slimy; just to varying degrees.
That empty spot is where my '17 CSeH has tire goo for fixing a flat (it doesn't come with a spare). So it might just be a universal part that is carried over from other models.
Its probably already been said or is too stupid to have been said but I'll say it anyway. Have you checked the battery? Sometimes a dying battery makes the electronics go haywire. No clue if they would throw the codes you are getting now but, its worth looking into? Just a thought.
haha too funny. I looked up at saw june on the OP and figure it was 2022... Whoops; I should get more sleep
actually.. even dumber;;; I post in a related thread at the bottom of the page, not the one I originally intended tooo... jeez im losing it
