Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You might have have noticed various previously convenient parts diagrams on retailers web sites, https://www.autoatlanta.com/porsche-parts/996-99-05/landing.php for example, no longer have diagrams. Someone at a very popular part retailer told me on the phone that porsche made everyone take them down. Porsche NA have done a disservice to owners. It's basically use their pdf, or Porsche don't want you to know, for what reason I have no idea. 🙄. lame.

Interesting. Those diagrams don't show up in chrome. I tried Samsung internet browser on my phone, and yes the diagrams are still there. Mobile and desktop chrome, they do not. It's either just me and the parts service I spoke to was ahead of the game, or wrong. I'll try with some different desktop browsers later. Now it's time for the Spanish GP.

I was worried you meant the PETs are no longer available. I’ve downloaded the ones I need( and a few more) but perhaps I need to grab all of them (Cayenne maybe) just in case they eventually disappear.

POST 7Original post

Not saying I will...but these should be very easy to scrape and re-host. Are these not available in the 996 .pdf though?

POST 8Original post

They’re all currently downloadable in .pdf format. I just grabbed them all. (There are 60 in total) You never know when they might be pulled from Porsche’s site.

Good idea, the diagrams belong to Porsche , and they are very protective of their IP....
