Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. I want to change my front 18x7.5 sport designs to 18x 8 or 18x8.5.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I want to change my front 18x7.5 sport designs to 18x 8 or 18x8.5. Is it as simple as finding 20 hole 8 or 8.5 barrels? Resources for barrels?
thanks,
Billy
They make 8-in barrels but don't know how easy they are to find. Also might have to recalculate your offsets. Alternatively, you could take your barrel and have it widened. Again offsets May have to be considered.
Best wheel design on the 996 IMO. I went the cheap way and just added spacers to get a nice fitment.
I believe the 996.1 GT3 used 8" fronts. Not sure they ever made 8.5" sport designs.
You would always get a TRUSTED wheel guy, cut and weld you whatever you wanted. But yeah, is the juice worth the squeeze. I'd much rather throw some $200 spacers on and buy bucket seats or a new radio, aero, etc..
I will agree wheels make the car. Good luck in whatever you decide to do and please follow up.
The Sport Designs will be for the occasional street application. Fikse Profil 13 9 & 11 in her track configuration. 2000 factory aero car.

Thanks.
Shes my slow car so I can learn how to drive as opposed to just powering around the track.
