If I didn't have the Bose in the Targa, I would love to replace my very nice clean Grey ones for deviating Carpet matching Metropole Blue ones.

Anyone looking for a 2 piece set of factory OEM mats for their 996, here is the cheapest set I could find and still be Porsche OEM.

All the OEM sets I'm finding are for the 4 piece set which I do not need for a GT2 but the boxster set is for only the 2 piece set.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am trying to find an OEM set of floor mats for my 996 GT2. I would guess that the mats for the Carrera, Turbo, GT2 and GT3 are all of the same size for the driver and passenger side (Aside from the BOSE equip ones). Are the Boxster ones the same size as well? I figure there is a chance that they are but thought someone here might know. All the OEM sets I'm finding are for the 4 piece set which I do not need for a GT2 but the boxster set is for only the 2 piece set.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thank you
I would love to get a set of Lloyd but the problem is they only offer the logos on the Ultimat line. I have a set of the Velourtex line in one of my other cars and they are a bit thicker than OEM mats so I imagine the Ultimat mats would be like sitting in a Rolls Royce...a great feeling but not what I'm looking for when I'm in a driver focused car...and much heavier. If they offered the custom logos on the Velourtex then I'd jump on a set in a second but since they do not, no Lloyds for me. I even wrote them and they said only on Ultimat line, must be some sort of license deal with Porsche.
I'll check out the suncoast link but I'll probable end up getting these

I've read a handful of places now that the 996 boxster mats are the same as the 996 911. Might be time to test what I've read and report back.
I bought the 2-piece set for my coupe when I bought it.
It had a well worn drivers mat.
I have the new passenger mat stored away in case I ever need it.
I don’t have back seats either, but I do have the rear mats.
I don’t have to worry about soiling 5he carpet underneath when I put stuff in the rear floorboards.
Of course 5hey came with the car.
I probably wouldn’t buy them now.
I bought a pair of the recently released Porsche classic winter mats for $80. They look great in the car.

I use to own a Boxster S,
The shape from the back of the door to the BumperPlug pretty similar. (differenent fenders/lites, but bolt up same. I can't say for certain, but I'd be willing to give it a shot if you.
If I didn't have the Bose in the Targa, I would love to replace my very nice clean Grey ones for deviating Carpet matching Metropole Blue ones.
The seller, when I got it added new ones but all they had was Graphite Grey matching leather.
Let us know,
Personally, if the carpets in my 996 were worn out, I'ld buy a set of WeatherTech liners what are laser fit/cut to fit the car. Have a set in my BMW and MB and like them very much. Fit perfectly and no need to worry about getting dirt/water in the car.
See, for example:
https://www.weathertech.com/porsche/...bose-audio/no/
However, the carpets in my car are in very good shape for a 20 yr old car and, since I only drive it when it's clear and sunny out I don't think I'll need to replace them anytime soon. I do however note that the OE carpets in my car and kept in place by 2 plastic buckles (not the typical hook/retainer set up).
The female part of the buckle is on the carpet and the male part is attached to the floor on both sides of the carpet nearest the front of the seat. I looked at various OEM replacements and they apparently do not have the same method of attachment.
So, OP, if your car has the buckle clips and you want them to be as close of OE as possible, I'd look for replacements w/the buckles.
My mats arrived the other day and was able to get them put in just now. I can confirm that the boxster 996 mats fit perfectly in my gt2. I bought OEM Boxster mats

They told me they wouldn't fit but once again, community knowledge prevails. Anyone looking for a 2 piece set of factory OEM mats for their 996, here is the cheapest set I could find and still be Porsche OEM.

If anyone wants the mats I had in the car before for cheap, let me know. Passenger side is in great shape, black OEM Porsche mat. Drivers side mat is rough on the underside and I believe is a 993 floor mat. Also Black with porsche logo.
Don't buy from a one man show out of England.
He claimed he does this and that.
Shipped late. Shipped junk.
cheap pile, no backing and the red trim was not even close if color request.
