Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So Ill try and keep this short. Installed top gear 200cel cats and sport mufflers on 02 996 cab. Got p0420 p0430 codes almost immediately. Its like these were cat less instead of catted. 🤦♂️ So added spacers and those did not work. Then added fabspeed mini cats and those cleared the cat codes but got p0296 and p0159 every 200-300 miles depending on how being driven i rechecked my exhaust joints/couplers etc and re tightened.. no luck. So I threw my stock cats back on. So far no codes but have only driven 100 miles. I went to change oil and it smells like exhaust. Oil cap is worse smelling than dipstick and Oil in pan. Im going to get it analyzed. The cylinders were sleeved this winter. Could all this be from the rings still not being seated? Its got 1300 miles on the new sleeves.
My durametric pre and post cat look good
my fra is around 1 and my rkat 2
Do these fuel trims look ok or is it too lean? Should I keep looking for air leak?
Fuel trims looks go to me. The problem are the crappy aftermarket catalytic converters. There is not enough material in them to do their job. Most "high flow" converters are that because there is hardly any material in them so they are be default "high flow".
Thanks... I was hoping it wasnt running lean since the rkat is around 2. Im still learning this fuel trim stuff. Im hoping installing factory cats back in solves all my issues listed in my post.
I have an appointment this week to look at a leaky oil scavenger cover. Looks like seepage from a bolt or 2 after car cools. Any chance a that could cause a vacuum leak to cause lean? Im going to have them diagnose the lean issue but Ive done 125 miles now on stock cats and no cel.
