Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

10 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi Guys, I'm looking for the gromit that holds the engine compartment temperature sensor in place. I can find the sensor everywhere, but not the gromit. Anyone have any ideas?

POST 2Original post

It's part #993 110 530 00 Seems to be available from some UK sources but nothing obvious stateside. I would try to order one from a dealer. May have been superceded by 958 606 530 00 which is available from Pelican.

Confirming that the dealer will supply you with the 958 part number. Had them replacing a missing one a few months ago while in there for something else. I also have an extra one lying around i can send you.

POST 6Original post

Strange it doesnt show 996 in fitment For $13.25 its worth a shot

Thank you very much thats very generous of you. However, I have found a blank grommet at my local hardware store which I think I will be able to adapt. I will let you know how it works out.

Sounds good. If for some reason it doesn't let me know. I bought a genuine 958-606-530-00 from Pelican Parts a while back, only for my tech to put one in for free before I could install mine. As said before he used the same 958 part number. So if you want it, let me know and happy to send. Not worth the return charge so is going to sit on my shelf for the foreseeable future. Might as well go to someone who can use it. FWIW, I just took a look and while the part is listed and labeled under 958-606-530-00, the part number molded into the grommet itself is 993-110-530-01. So definitely the same part.
