Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I am back with a 996 after selling my first one in 2006 and moving from Porsches to BMWs in 2012. After 14 years away it all came back to me on the 5 hour drive home. The sounds, smells, feels, I really missed it and am loving being back. My current car is a 2000 and my original was a 2002. Slight differences but after 14 years feels like I never left.
I burned my son out with cars when he was little, I guess I took him to too many PCA events and he had enough and seemed to have lost interest in anything automotive. That all changed when he got his license. He found a new passion for everything automotive and I wanted to feed that and promote the hobby. We agreed to research, look at, and find a fun car for us both to work on together and enjoy. We started looking several months ago and he immediately was turned off by the 996 and Boxster, I guess not flashy enough. We continued our search looking at many different cars. We just could not find what we wanted or find happiness in the same car. I decided to take him again to look at a 996. This time he actually drove it and looked over at me, while behind the wheel, and said "Dad I get it, this is what we need". That was not the right car for us but 6 weeks later we found this one 5 hours away and spent the day to look at, drive, and negotiate it. We drove the new car home together and sharing the experience with my teenager was worth every penny. The car is very solid and up to date on most items but had a few little things that allows us to continue working on together as a project. We have replaced a lot of missing or broken trim, full detail, and now working to replace the center console (too much Gray) and then replace the motor mounts. i am sure there will be other items to keep us busy togehter.
Glad to be back and share the passion with my son.
Great that you got back into the 911 game, but even better the experiences that you will have with your son. Mine are too young right now, but I hope to do the same thing one day.
Congrats!
I gotta like it because it looks almost exactly like my 2000 C4 Cab.
You obviously have very good taste but you've gotta get rid of those yellow side markers. LOL!
