The front seat covers didn�t come with the set, just a piece of leather to have some made up ..

Yes!! That is exactly what I plan to do. I havent checked everything yet but I have most if not all the parts but will need to have new covers made for the hardback sports seats. It�s a black deviated package meaning all carpeted areas will be black. If I could find carpets I�d go all the way! My rear console is painted yellow and I plan to do the hard backs now as well. The seatbelts are yellow so I expect this will really pop.
Family and friends that already know the plan are having mixed emotions, plainly.

That�s going to be painful then isn�t it?? The front seat covers didn�t come with the set, just a piece of leather to have some made up .. not sure there is enough for the instrument binnacle as well. Might have to get crafty and save some leather by doing a 959 seat scheme with bands of lighter green and yellow!!

There was a cab in pastel on nephrite on eBay back around 2004. I�ve always wondered what happened to it and fear at some point it was under appreciated .. it was a great combo

and someone had dyed the original green carpet to black. Thankfully the pins weren�t hard to remove and change that to my carpet
Damn that is the ultimate color combo as far as I am concerned even tops the PTS Orange with Nephrite Green interior car I used to own.
Bring that bad boy down to Florida for an event like Werks would love to see in person.

We�re getting there slower than I hoped. There is still the question of upholstering the front seats. I wondered if anyone had recommendations there - can�t afford to make a mistake in that one! In Atlanta would be great however I know I might need to go further afield
Other parts missing - the little cover at the rear of the console, cowl for the instrument panel, steering wheel, gear shift and hand brake. I think I can get away with black with the deviated carpets. If anyone has these I�d appreciate a reach out - Mike
Unfortunately the typical new Porsche buyer nor Porsche like unusual colors and the 996 in unusual colors don�t seem to have received much love over the last 20 years - making them hard to find. The current configurator for example has 15 colors, 9 of them are some shade of white / black / grey, 2 are red, 2 blue, one green and a yellow.
2/3rds grey�s and the interior colors are even less interesting. Ironically my garage is also 2/3rds grey Porsches.
I know of one other speed yellow over nephrite and that hasn�t been on the market for about 5 years so all of that is to say I had to piece it together myself, if that is what I wanted. I wish I didn�t have to, this job is no fun.
if there was another one out there I�d be all over it!
