Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I put my sport seats in this weekend and the connector plugged right in. BUT the recline does not work. Has anyone had this challenge before? And if so what wiring changes do I need to make? Anyone have the sport seat wiring diagram? Thanks for the help!

POST 2Original post

Boy, it's been a long time since I did this so don't take this 100%. I went from memory full power seats to sport seats and IIRC, I had to swap out one of the power pins and move it over on the connector. See if your connector looks like this and has the power going in the right pin.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Will do. I bet that is is because there is nothing else to "power" on the sport seat

You got it. The power locations are different IIRC.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Now I have to wait all day to go home and fix it

POST 6Original post

Can you mix the bottom of a memory seat and the back of a sport seat to make a memory sport seat? To complicate it further I also would transfer the heated elements.

Yes you can, even the adjustable factory lumbar.
