Wanted to replace with OEM, but here in Canada the .1 is 4x the price of the larger.

I could have sworn that the 997 coolant reservoir also fits the 996 version. Is this still true? One is $150 and the other $900. Kind of hard to justify.
Yep the $900 one is for the 996.1 , the cheaper one is 996.2 and will fit the 996.1 with a few mods.....Search for the threads that detail this.....
PS :: use only Genuine Reservoirs, the others have a bad reputation of the caps not fitting well and other things...
PS2 :: yep the 997.1 uses the same one as the 996.2
Might be time for the UICR to be created . That would be Ultimate Integrated Coolant Reservoir . Made from aluminum with a float level indicator or a viewing window . Ptech3 time to get moving on that 😆 .

Wanted to replace with OEM, but here in Canada the .1 is 4x the price of the larger. 2 version. Needed up replacing AOS and coolant reservoir at the same time, used the OEM .2 version. Definitely a right squeeze but worth it given the savings and larger capacity
