HI Guys, Does anyone know if I can purchase a replacement gear? Seems stupid to buy a new $400.00 motor for a $2.00 piece of plastic. Thanks!

Only sold as a complete unit as far as I know. Never seen a repair ad for the sunroof drive mechanism. Might just have to suck it up on this one...replace with new unit and enjoy your sunroof. Or manually close and never use it again.

Buy broken one on Ebay take gears out and swap. But I have to agree with last poster, you might have to just suck it up. Mine will not authorized close better part of two years but for $400 I can afford to manually hold the button
