Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The C4S came with a plug installed for the key, but I never really noticed it - until I returned from a trip, greeted the wife and promptly went to the garage for my routine "late night return from trip take the cars for a stress breaker cruise".

Well, the car must have gone into sleep mode as neither remote would unlock the car, no sweat I think, I'll just use the key.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

18 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

You're probably right Soar, maybe I should produce an HD video with credits of the installation tomorrow! Yow, I didn't know about the matching door plugs... bumperplugs.com here I come...

POST 5Original post

I have those. Installation is tricky. Whatever you do, don't put the left one in the right side hole. Ask me how I know.

POST 6Original post

Make sure you put some anti-seize on them in case the next owner likes front plates.

POST 7Original post

That's funny and an excellent point!

POST 11Original post

rporzio - looks like you have a near twin of my C2 - the aero rockers really have a significant impact on the look of the car. Funny memory on the door plug. Except there was no place to insert the key! Honestly felt like a fool as I went to the C2 to verify that indeed there should be a key cylinder in the door when it suddenly dawned on me that perhaps it was simply a plug. Sigh of relief although a bit red faced as I figured it out.

POST 12 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank siltwo, they came with the car originally so I'm happy about that, funny story with the door plug! Here's a full recent pic of mine... R.

POST 13Original post

It's my cars body double! (except I did give in and install the smoked side markers) Looks to be in really good shape. Not only do the wheels look good, I find them pretty easy to keep clean. Service manager actually asked me if I removed my wheels to clean them - nope - a few good wheel brushes is all it takes.

Fantastic looking ride! And man I am getting old - took me a second read to get the "Bplugs.com" comment.

POST 16 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thank you silo and you're right gonzo it's at least that, but let's talk about prestige and no telling how much more of that I'll acquire if I add the body color door lock plugs; my head is swimming with the thoughts...

POST 17Original post

These are the plugs that fix the RMS leak right? Or is this for the IMS oil drain hole to keep the bearing lubed?

POST 18 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I thought they took care of both issues Dan, if not Customer Service is gonna get the call...
