Now that Hankook is no longer making Ventus evo V12 in sizes I have been using 235/40-18 & 295/30-18 with the release of the Ventus evo V12 v2 I am considering switching to the new Hankook RS3 v2.

Now that Hankook is no longer making Ventus evo V12 in sizes I have been using 235/40-18 & 295/30-18 with the release of the Ventus evo V12 v2 I am considering switching to the new Hankook RS3 v2. Unfortunately, Hankook is making it difficult as closest sizes I see they make the RS3's v2's to my OEM are 235/40-18 or 245/45-18 for fronts and 285/35-18 for rear. Would going to these slightly talkers tires on my 2004 w/ x74 suspention any one know if they would work?

My only response is on tire choice vs. size. The RS3V2 is one of those autocross, street track day, wears out fast, not great in rain type of tire. Basically one of the highest dry performance tires you would want before going to an R-compound track tire. The Evo V12 is a very good street tire and actually may be better for your needs (depending on what they are). So, since the Evo V12 is not available in your size, you may want to look for a competitor in the same category.
