Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Charged me $50/rim & caliper set for ceramic coating.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Doing my part to stimulate the economy and help local small businesses. Detailing and ceramic coating of rims & calipers. Few small paint touch ups too.
Your car looks gorgeous....nicely done. I am not a fan of ceramic coating the body yet....but the idea of ceramic coating the wheels and calipers is a great idea. I may try that.
As far as the GT3RS, my friends Gray/Black with orange highlight/wheels, is probably my favorite color Porsche....its a stunning color for some strange reason....
Charged me $50/rim & caliper set for ceramic coating. Said its normally more but since rims had just been refinished and powder coated the day before there was less prep time required. Dont rule out full car ceramic coating, i had it done last month to my newly acquired, 82k mile, 997.2 4s. Results below speak for themself:
Wow...that looks great....Makes me miss my Meteor Gray C4S I sold over a year ago. You have a 4.0 in that?
My hesitation of Ceramic coatings is its hard to reverse and my concern is once it wears out there is much more work to prepe for it again 3-5 years later. waiting for some more experience in this area.
4.0 courtesy of Flat 6 Innovations, previous owner commissioned a rebuild after bore scoring.
As for ceramic coating, i don't do my own work so added prep work in 3-5 years will be left to the professionals. I also put Xpel PPF on the front half and rocker panels before the ceramic coat was applied.
Looks brand new! How did they touch up the scratches? I have a few on mine. Its a 6 footer and the price I paid reflects it but Id love to get rid of em.
Did you acquire the 997 from a RLister? There was a thread by a guy named Bronz I believe a while back. Killer car that got the FSI treatment. Looks just like yours.
This is the package i had done on the 997 4.0, Not cheap but i bought this car to keep forever and at 80k miles it had never had any paint protection. They touched up many little front end spots which are still visible up close, but from any distance at all it looks amazing.
I’m confused which car is yours optonman s. Either 996 4s or 997 w 4.0. They both look great.
was talking to B&B today and he mentioned having a GB RS in the shop ... but graphics were swapped from black to riviera so not car above
Both the Arctic Silver 996 4s and meteor grey 997 4.0 are mine. This thread started about the 996 but i posted pictures of my 997 when topic moved on to ceramic coating.
I got my 997.1 turbo ceramic coated. Looks amazing and is very easy to wash. Makes the GT silver really pop and look exotic. I plan on getting my Arctic Silver Metallic 996.1 done too although it needs the front bumper repainted and some dings taken out. Clean Porsches look amazing.

Will center caps not straighten once he drives car? I think pics are at detailer. I had my wheels painted and complained that center caps not properly oriented. I got home and all was good.
Car has never looked better. Ever.
paint correction, paint chip touch up, full front clear, ceramic. Remove side graphics.
A Buff & Beyond. Excellent work.
