Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Oil should be changed either by the miles or by the time interval Use synthetic oil and at least once a year or every 3000-4000 miles depending on your driving habits. Highway miles could extend it to 5000 or sooner, if it's a stop and go traffic,

Your post history is suspect.

POST 5Original post

Wow, I thought I was being over the top! OP, if you are daily driving, 5000 miles TOPS. If puttering around 3000 miles. Pick your poison Also, 2x on the full synthetic. Not trying to start an oil war so check out some forums. The go to's oils are: OEM PTX Mobile 1 (OEM from Porsche stuff (not recommended)), Liqui moly (race guys love this stuff and my personal favorite (molygen)), Driven DT40 (LN engineering recomended and super duper $$$), and Motul 8100 / X‑cess 5W‑40... Any other oils is individual preference that is hopefully backed up by some info on the label (like moly content for preventing of cold start engine wear blaw blaw blaw). Make sure you spend no more than 1-2 hours researching as it can take up your whole damn 4th lol

POST 6Original post

Every 6 months since engine rebuild in 2021 with Liquimoly. I work from home mostly but D.C. roads and traffic are terrible!

POST 7Original post

Every 5K miles or 6 months Whichever comes first!

PTX is a gear oil not a motor oil.
