Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 4Original post

There is one this Sunday, October 12th in Kansas City (Leawood). It is an "all-German" event sponsored jointly by the Porsche, BMW and Mercedes clubs (no Audis, to my knowledge). See below for info: KCR PCA 2014 OKTOBERFEST CAR SHOW The annual KCR PCA Oktoberfest Car Show will be held on Sunday, October 12th, 2014 at the US Bank parking lot in Hawthorne Plaza on 119th St. just west of Roe Ave. This is a joint show hosted by the Mercedes Benz Club and includes the BMW club also. It will run from 9AM to 2PM. (The weekend will be the Chiefs bye week). There will be a different twist this year, the Mercedes Club is offering a friendly challenge to the three clubs, presenting a trophy for the club with the most cars. The trophy will be known as "The Traveling Pig". Why a pig? For hogging up all the parking spaces, of course! In the past this has been a very successful and well attended event for Porsche. This year we need to break all records and take home the "PIG" !!! To help get more club members to show their cars we are offering more class trophies than ever before. In addition, there will be a best-in-show trophy this year. This year there will be 9 classes plus a best in show with trophies inscribed with each class. REAR ENGINE: 1950-1965 1966-1988 1989-1998 1999-2014 MID ENGINE: 1969-1976 1996-2004 2005-2014 FRONT ENGINE: 1976-1991 2002-2014 "BEST-IN-SHOW" This is a shine and show competition with a $20 entry fee. Please bring exact dollars or a check made out to KCRPCA. Each entry will receive 2 ballots with voting for all classes. Trophies will be awarded on most votes in each class. We will start placing cars @ 9AM. Cars will be placed by class, please enter from the east side entrance so that we can direct you where to park your car. Voting will start at 10am, so get your car there early as you can. Questions: Spencer Cochran [email removed] [phone removed] T. Jones [email removed] [phone removed]

Here in Mississippi the local PCA participates in our local Glckstadt,MS Germanfest. German cars on display, great beer, bratwurst, sauerkraut, pretzels, strudel, Polka bands, etc. It was September 28th this year, so a bit early for Oktoberfest, but we still called our annual PCA dinner and drive the weekend of Germanfest our Oktoberfest.
