Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I bought a 2005 Porsche Carrera Convertible 911 from a friend. Car is black on black, really really nice. Never liked a black car till this one. So the car has some nice essentials but like everyone who gets a new used car, I am thinking about what extras that are out there to make the experience even better. I am just about to put it in the garage for the winter so lots of time to plan and shop. Appreciate any ideas you may have.
Thanks
Colin

US cars had orange side-markers. A very common mod is to replace them with Euro clear side-markers (with orange bulbs). Euro OEM clears are about $38 plus shipping from a Porsche parts discounter like Suncoast.
There were 2005 996s in the US. They included the C4S, turbo and turbo S. The C2 and C4 cabriolet in 2005 was a 997. Not sure what's going on with this one...
This is a 2005 996 carrera. In 2005 they made 4100 of the 996s before switching over to the new model. This was one of the last ones. Even the dealer here in Canada was surprised it was a 2005.
LED light bulbs for interior, frunk and engine cover.
Looks like you've already got the upgraded gearshift **** and emergency brake handle, plus the all important pad for the shoulder belt.
I thinks that's about all you can do. Looks like this is where you're headed next:
Very very nice...I'd try to drive it on good days during the winter. And consider checking with your Porsche dealer on an aftermarket service contract.
