Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

The dual-row bearing can be replaced with a dual-row retrofit bearing, but the Solution is intended for weaker single-row bearings.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

16 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

2 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

This weeks I*S threads seem to have turned almost to the ridiculous. I implore all my fellow readers and posters, not to post reply to such threads unless they are in the sticky section. That way they disappear off the forum listing fast, rather than every time I log on they are still there, because someone posted a reply and they stay live It feels like it would be easier to irradiate Ebola than an IMS thread on Rennlist right now, come on we can do it. IGNORE IMS THREADS!!

POST 2Original post

All the posts and replies are from KK sock puppets. The 997 crowd isn't nearly neurotic enough for him so he secretly wants to come back to the 996 fold, but he's trying to drive prices down further first.

POST 3Original post

Don't look now, but you just created another I** Thread!

POST 4Original post

Thank goodness someone posted an IMSB thread to close out the work week. I know its only Thursday but that's close enough.

POST 5Original post

I will say Porsche guys seem to be a unique bunch. I mean you have a really big Takata recall on airbags that affect manufacturers like Toyota, Honda, BMW, etc. This is safety related and is something you can actually die from. Yet you don't hear any of those enthusiasts trying to analyze it and going hysterical over it, or even trying to point fingers and would've should've scenarios, or telling others not to buy it or not drive it. IXX just hits the pocket books but I don't think one can actually give you a "real" heart attack. Must be nice worrying about first world issues, unlike Ebola...

POST 7Original post

If people refuse to search to find USEFUL threads, what makes you think this thread is going to dissuade anyone? The people who are reading it already agree, and the people who are going to create a new IMS thread anyway are (a) going to read this and ignore it, or (b) will never see it, since search is a mystery. Please take this thread out behind the barn and put a bullet into it.

There appears to be a correlation between the rise of Ebola and fall of 996 prices and we all know the IMSB is at the heart of the later. QED the IMSB must cause Ebola!!!

POST 9Original post

According to Flat6 their IMS part solution does not include 1999 996. Does it mean that 1999 911 in inmune? Sorry for the keep alive. http://flat6innovations.com/

POST 11Original post

In the "another good week" thread, the IMS issue was resolved. I highly suggest anyone looking for more information, and a solution, to browse through those posts. Normally I just direct readers to threads, or advise of key search terms, instead of giving people the answer....however, since I'm in a good mood, here's a summary for those too lazy to ready through that 35+ page thread. ...get unicorn semen, and lots of it. PROBLEM SOLVED.

POST 12Original post

The '99 has a dual-row bearing. The dual-row bearing can be replaced with a dual-row retrofit bearing, but the Solution is intended for weaker single-row bearings.

Yes, Now I can finally get me some sleep and throw all my delusional pills away. Thank you Pcar master.

POST 14Original post

Of the 7 failure engine failure calls we have logged this week, not a single one was an IMSB failure, or even had the symptoms of one. With so many cars retrofitted, and owners being educated, the numbers have plummeted.

What's up with the snide response? *shrug* Moving on.

If your seeing that trend, what is the more common MOF's causing the more recent CEF's?
