Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

14 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Everyone, Have a friend selling his 1999 Porsche 911, base model, stick, only one owner...and only 20k miles. Pretty much a garage queen. He was asking $13k - which I thought was pretty fair.

POST 2Original post

Depends on condition and records of servicing. Also, many might suggest that a low mileage 996 might be trouble due to sitting so long between drices. I love my 99 C2 and have since 2006 when I purchased it. $13k is cheep.GLWP

POST 4Original post

Take it!!!! you can't buy a Corolla 2011 for that money, even do is a low mileage car, be prepared to spend an extra 2000 just in preventive maintenance, if the clutch needs to be replaced add $1500

POST 5Original post

He could probably get a few thousand more to the right buyer. At that price, it should be sold within a few days.

POST 6Original post

I think the older 996 prices have really bottomed out. Sounds like it may be a good deal.

POST 7Original post

That sounds really low IMO...but I'm in socal so p cars usually go for more in this area...I think it's a steal

POST 8Original post

Maybe it has a shifted block core or cracked head? Common 99 3.4 issues.

POST 9Original post

That price is less than what I would expect for an engine and a roller total price if bought separate. Where is the car? I might go buy it and wait for prices to skyrocket.

POST 11Original post

if you dont want to buy it, send me his contact. Danny

POST 13Original post

Based on your description, that is a great deal Remember, if you are thinking of buying it, get a good PPI. That is the best protection you can get. At that price, I would be surprised if it isn't already sold

POST 14 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

You all guessed it - sold. The early bird gets the worm.....
