Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Seal grey is tricky - I was too cowardly to change the wheels on my seal grey Boxster for exactly that reason.

I've been talking about refinishing the Turbo twists on my C4S for a while now and I've been really up in the air as to whether or not I want to stick with the OE silver or use another color.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I've been talking about refinishing the Turbo twists on my C4S for a while now and I've been really up in the air as to whether or not I want to stick with the OE silver or use another color. My car is Seal Grey. It is a cab with a light grey top. I'm not a fan of black wheels but I've been wondering about anthracite and recently came across this pict of a C4S coupe with anthracite twists:
My car will look different with the light colored roof (to provide contrast to the body and which kind of matches the OE color of the wheels) but I'm thinking these might look nice. They're dark but not so dark that you lose the shape of the wheels when you look at them.
I'd love to hear people's thoughts? Is it just me or does this car look great?
-Eric
I think the anthracite and gunmetal grey wheel colors look great.
I'm not a fan of black wheels, especially the turbo twists. Some of the black multi-spoke styles look good, but I think there is too much surface area on the turbo twists for the black.
Just my .02
Thanks! Yeah, black wheels definitely aren't an option for me. I know it's a popular trend to do it today but I find that most wheels look like massive voids when painted black. The black paint tends to hide all of the creases and curves in the wheel's design. There are exceptional cases where I like them or I think they look right with the paint scheme but I just don't think they'll work (for me) on my car --- maybe if it was all black or something but that's beside the point.

lol effing grey with a red effing tail and effing huge effing talons. I'm actually thinking I'll get the wheels done when the paint and top are repaired this spring.
OP, I like the wheels as depicted in the supplied photo. Seal grey is tricky - I was too cowardly to change the wheels on my seal grey Boxster for exactly that reason.
Here are the wheels I got done last week- Same color would for sure look good on your car! Didn't realize how DIRTY my windows were.... time to get cleaning..
Thanks -- yeah, Seal Grey is very tricky, especially since I don't traditionally like wheels that are black (or just too dark).
They look great! Did you pick out the color when you dropped them off or just tell them "dark grey?" The more I look around, I might actually do a direct color match to Seal Grey...maybe with a little more flake just to get them to pop a bit. I don't want them to look dirty all of the time.
