Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Currently running 235 / 18 on 8.5" wheel, front 295 / 18 on 10.5" wheel, rear The wider wheels and tires make the car feel remarkably planted Tires are on the menu this season, so should I go to 245 front and 295 rear? too much? Is there a sweet spot, say 235 front / 285 rear or 245 front / 285 rear? atm, I'm partial to going to 245 / 295 but curious as to others results

POST 2Original post

for some events I run a 245/40/17 front and it reduces understeer considerably. The factory 225 width is a little nicer for daily driving feel but I don't see any considerable change in rear traction playing around with the rear width- that inside unloads and open-diff lets it spin right up.

POST 3Original post

285/30/18 is ideal rear size as the lower profile maximizes torque mutiplication to maximize acceleration. 235/40/18 front matches it well.
