Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

8 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Anybody has seen something like this? Replaced struts assembly (strut, springs, mount and bearing) and lower control arm. Found one of the upper strut mount stuck on the body after removing all the retaining nuts. Bent upper strut mount...

POST 3Original post

That happens When you hit put hall happend to me last year

POST 4Original post

^^^ Typo is my native language. He meant 'pot hole'.

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Definitely not accident but I live in metro Detroit area. Pot hole make sense as I am in pot hole capital of the United States. Funny thing is, I sent the car for alignment last year and they can align the car to spec with that bent strut mount. No way you can see it without removing the strut assembly.

POST 6Original post

I have some for sale if you want a good deal, send pm David

POST 7Original post

It looks like the top of the strut is bent too...

POST 8 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Top of the strut is bent pretty bad. Bearing is not rotating smoothly too. the upper part of the mount is starting to rust too as paint is cracked from the bend/impact. Well, I was not expecting to see a bent strut. Car drove well and tires are wearing evenly. I bought bilstein sport with tech art springs, new upper mounts and bearings, lower control arms and tarret adjustable toe links as mod (Christmas gift). I guess its a repair, not mod anymore
