I use my leaf blower a couple of times a year to blow everything out of the intakes, seems to work pretty well also.

With Spring right around the corner, I thought I would tackle cleaning my radiators again (and actually remember to re-route the emergency frunk pull) - even after all of the under body damage that I fixed last year there were still a couple of other little things to sort out.

There was quite a bit of fine particle buildup so I gave them a good blast of air to clean things out.

These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

With Spring right around the corner, I thought I would tackle cleaning my radiators again (and actually remember to re-route the emergency frunk pull) - even after all of the under body damage that I fixed last year there were still a couple of other little things to sort out. Ultimately, I didn't think the radiators would be too dirty after having just cleaned them 12 months ago. This is the crap that fell out from side number one without actually cleaning it. Side number two was even worse. This was all the big stuff before I broke out the air compressor. The final count was one Sonic cup, two cigarette butts, a whole bunch of rocks and a good pile of full sized leaves. Although I live is Texas, this is starting to make those Zunnsport grills look like a viable option. R

POST 2Original post

Yeah, I pulled several cigarette butts out of mine too. Didn't you have a bit of dirt build up? I had to pressure wash mine.

There was quite a bit of fine particle buildup so I gave them a good blast of air to clean things out. I've read elsewhere on RL that power washing is more likely to damage the fins, so I went that route and it seemed to work well. I am curious though where other folks have routed their emergency pulls. I did mine through the tow hook, but something tells me there is a better alternative. R
