Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
To even attempt a repair would require enough work to merit newer trim.
Leading evidence: 'Repair would require enough work' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Repair would require enough work' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Is there a way to find out how many 2001 996 Cabriolets were produced with my color of Rainforest Green Metallic (HL2A1), and the various interior options?
The color code sticker
Just my 2 cents here...
Can you confirm that you interior is natural brown?
I am going to be brave and say that although your exterior is well regarded color as BAT keeps showing, the interior is fully loaded but the sum of the parts may not be that desirable or rare .
So yes you have every interior option known to a Porsche dealer however x51 - which you dont have would be more desirable than any of the options you have listed here.
I also have a Green 996 and secretly wish my frunk sticker looked like this:
Not mine... somewhere over in Denmark...
So here's my tale of being a naive new Porsche owner with a car that I thought to be possibly rare...
I found the email for contacting Porsche NA about customer inquiries for existing owners. I emailed that address and basically said "I understand if this data would cost money but I'm curious to know how many other 2003 cars were made in Dark Teal Metallic with Black leather optioned."
Their response was "Congrats on the car! Unfortunately, we do not even sell the data. This is private. Thanks, and enjoy your 911."
So, in the end I decided that all those claims of "This is one of 500 made in this color!" are made up and it really doesn't matter anyway.
Enjoy your car in best of health!
A fellow on the 996 Turbo forum has gotten his hands on all the 996 Turbo build sheets and has correlated the data in many ways. Very interesting stuff, for example a total of 225 Midnight Blue 6-speed 996 Turbo's made for North America. Which explains why it took me two years to find one.
I think the good people at Vinanalytics could do this for non turbos but they probably have their hands full!
ultimately ... not all options are desirable so it would be nice to know how rare or common your sled is!
I would be much happier not devolving into diaper rubbing Corvette owner forums bragging about 1:1 garbage spec that nobody cares about.
Fantastic color on your cab!

X51 is the Power Pack that was either included with some cars from factory, like the 40AE cars, or added as an option. It's not often seen as it was about a $9k option at the time. It raised the HP rating from 320 to 345HP and was available in US only for .2 cars. X51 for .1 cars was only available in Europe and maybe some other places.
HeidiG - Rare? Who truly cares when that car is stunning! The condition of the interior is ‘rare’ for wood grain trim of that age. Really pretty ragtop!
FYI - The wood delaminating at the windshield is ber common and will need to be swapped out. To even attempt a repair would require enough work to merit newer trim.
I have the same body color, so anecdotally I can say that 100% of 996s are Rainforest Green Metallic. I prefer your natural brown interior to my Savannah beige. Nice combination.
Thank you for the compliments. I'm just curious, if the day ever comes that we want to sell it...but that's not going to happen for a while! I need to remove the strip by the window and was hoping for advice on the best way to do that.
