Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Buying Feal coilovers for my 996. Already have sway bar drop links. What else, at minimum, do I need to do at the same time? Theres so many different control arms, links, strut mounts etc that I cant tell what is what. Its not a track car, so I dont need the best of the best. A little better than OEM and less weight are the goals. For instance, are the Rennline OE+ control arms sufficient, or do I need something specific due to being lowered?

POST 2Original post

Do Feals come with strut mounts? If not, then plan on replacing those too. OEM is fine, but monoball strut mounts are an attractive option.

POST 3Original post

Feals have the top mounts. I got the upgrade one they offer. I only added adjustable sway bar links with them. They are doing 10% off right now. Joey

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Scratch that. Cancelled it all besides the coilovers. Not tracking the car anytime soon so decided against the GT3 control arms. Getting Tarett toe arms and speed demon upper control arms along with Rennline bump steer kit and thrust arm bushings. May just do the full set of Meyle lower control arms just cause.

No need to GT3 control arms unless you need a lot of camber, or want to be able to easily add/remove camber for track/street duty.
