Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. This is not a probability of success.

One thing I'd do is ask myself, "OK, how am I going to keep the 'mouse fur' clean?".

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Since I have access to getting a quality interior upgrade done I was thinking of what to do. I'd like the steering wheel and seats to be in Alcntara but the configurations and stiching can vary. Also the shift **** and the hand brake.
What configurations would you do in Alcntara on a black interior, Arctic silver C2 carrera?
What about this?

I like the pasha interior because it is interesting, and have always like unique exterior or interior colors or patterns. Drove a 931 for many years with that pattern. Its a special car, show it off with a special fabric pattern like that in addition to the alcantara.
Pasha for the win!
And if you get tired of it, I assume you can return to stock materials for around another $700. Like a wrap for the interior, only cheaper than the exterior one.
After meeting a new 996 Targa owner when he picked up his new car after I Rennfaxed it, we talked about his 928 which has the Pasha interior. That got me thinking about it and how much I like it.
My wife would kill me if I did it to her 996 though. Wonder how it would look in a 958? I've always hated those perforated seats...
I'd have to use something other than white as the deviating color though. No way that would stay clean in a car I drive.
Alcantara is composed of about 68% polyester and 32% polyurethane, giving increased durability and stain resistance. The appearance and tactile feel of the material is similar to that of suede, and it may be incorrectly identified as such.
But the ultra-rare Pastime Motors NA turbocharged '02 probably DOES have "real" alcantara. I can't even imagine how much it cost the original owner to order such a heavily customized 996.
The rest of us have to settle for FAKE alcantara/leather...
Im thinking of doing the seat centers with black alcantara and silver stitching. Doing the wheel in alcantara and the shift **** and hand brake. An alcantara steering wheel feels great I think.
