Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Many of those cars are running a stock motor where a random 996 can pull on it easily on the road.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Just ran accross this video. These guys did a nice job.
Price, performance, handling with aftermarket support make the 996 the hot platform. Great to see the 996 as a widebody. No question, we will continue to see more ideas for the 996.

The best aero I see being made for our cars is from this guy - I really, really want a set of the rear fenders. Too bad for me the fronts he is making are for a .1

Not my cuppa. All that work just to make a splash at cars&coffee. That car will never see a track, and even if it did I daresay it would get trounced by any C2 with proper wheels/tires. On top of all that it's over-the-top wide. Silly car.
That said, yeah, people still doing stuff for the 996 platform is definitely cool.
I can say with certainty pretty much the entirety of what you posted is wrong for the car I posted. Over the top wide that one may be true depending on your perspective.
The same can be said for folks doing $40k + engine builds that would rip on the track and then end up doing 2k miles per year going on short Sunday cruises. You can mod a car for performance, aesthetics or both. RWB is a good example. Many of those cars are running a stock motor where a random 996 can pull on it easily on the road.
I like the look of the piece you posted. The subject of the thread, not so much. I'd be happy for them to prove me wrong, stuff some juice in the engine compartment, and shred some tires. I just don't expect it to happen.
Doubt I would ever want a widebody 996 unless I put in a powerplant that produced immense power that just couldn't be handled properly with a narrow body and a wider wheelbase with substantially more rubber was needed. But it's always good to see what folks are coming up with.
