Hello, I calibrated today my fuel level gauge through PIWIS 3. On renntech that is a post saying very clearly that for the 996 c2 the fuel should be drained and then added exactly 12 l, whereas for the C4, you should add 24lt. I have a C2. When I connected PIWIS it asked for 13lt to be added... So do you know which value is correct after all?

13lt works for caymans. According to Porsche procedures for C2 is 12lt and for C4 is 28lt, because the gas tank is split in two. The PIWIS procedure to calibrate the C4 cluster also says 13lt, this is why I do not trust PIWIS. This is the resource I read before calibration:. https://www.renntech.org/topic/46372...oes-beyond-34/ I I had to reset the calibration value first. This is done in PIWIS when you select the cluster. After that you run the calibration procedure. Please note that you should have steady 14 volts on your battery. I did the calibration using 12lt and not 13. I will report back in a couple of weeks if the car is reporting fuel correctly and if it warns well before it empties (if this happens I will find out the hard way) 😂 😂 😜

As chinese as it gets. But regardless of the dongle the software is genuine PIWIS. I trust more PIWIS 2. Thanks for verifying this
