Hi everyone, I just recently acquired a 2001 996 Turbo. In my search for the car, I test drove one that had an aftermarket Ruf steering wheel, the Atwie, and I really liked it. I didnt go with that car for other reasons, but am now looking to replace my stock wheel with one. I found a few on eBay from someone who refurbishes them in Ukraine. They look really nice, and the reviews are great, but they dont ship with the airbag. My questions are: -Has anyone ever ordered one of these and can confirm the quality? -What are my options to either use the stock airbag in the steering wheel, or replace the airbag? -Any idea for costs associated with sourcing a new airbag that will fit? Ultimately, I would love to have the Ruf wheel but do want a functioning airbag, seeing as I have a 4 month old, so should play it pretty safe. Thanks in advance!
