Picked up a 996.1 with low miles on the replacement engine, but high miles on the car itself. The leather in the seats needs a good amount of help. Any suggestions for an upholstery shop in Atlanta?

I'm into the seat process myself. It was how much broken plastic in the stock seats that made me look into Recaros. This video explains the details of the seats once they are apart. You Tube . You may want to explore this when you are getting them refinished. I don't have a source in Atlanta GA, but it's a car town. I'm sure there are really good choices. Get into the Porsche/German car community locally and see what you can find. Best,

Congrats on the new car. You might call some of the higher-end Porsche shops around Atlanta and ask them for recommendations. Gold Crest, Freed, Autohaus Social, Wolfpen. If you are handy, you might research online and buy a set of replacement seat coverings. They don't look too complicated to install yourself and you could save some money. It is fairly common for used seats to come up for sale on Rennlist, the PCA Marketplace, etc. That might be a good option, too. Hope you have been able to take the car up to enjoy the driving in North Georgia and North Carolina already.
