Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Leading evidence: 'Replace fuel pump, now this' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Repair anything thats broken i just need proper diagrams' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

I used my multi meter to try and jump power to the "B" row but nothing happened.

For testing motherboards and such.If not then its smarter and cost effective to sent to ecu doctors.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

So we have the battery hooked up but get no power to the door lights or dash. Horn works with key in and turned to acc or with key out. Hazard lights seem to work. C2 (Ignition, Oxygen Sensor Heater) and B10 (Instrument Cluster Diagnosis, Headlight Vertical Aim Control) fuses in the drivers kick panel fuse box are good. C2 has power, B10 does not. The research I did led me to understand that the "C" row of fuses gets its power from the battery and transfers that power to the "B" row but I could be mistaken. I used my multi meter to try and jump power to the "B" row but nothing happened. We then took a look at the immobilizer to see if anything was corroded. The fuse as gunky but not blown. The inside of the immobilizer box is clean and corrosion free. The whole thing started with it cranking and not staying on for more than a couple seconds. replaced fuel pump, now this. We tried to jumper the fuel pump relay to see if it would spin up but nothing. Very lost any advice would be great.
It is a 2001, 996.1. The main fuse panel has another above it full of relays. My system only has 5 horizontal plugs for the relays some models had 6 rows.
at least tell us what year your car is and any other basic info.
all the power runs through the ignition and headlight switches om these cars. Both r known to go bad and cause all kinds if random issues. Do a search as the repair is not that difficult or expensive. Next would be to buy a copy of the Bentley Manual for the wiring diagrams or find a a source so u can understand the power paths.
Still may be a bad immo... ecudoctors in FL can repair them if everything else tests fine.
Its a 2001. I am looking for a correct diagram to pick the right relays. I understand the power paths I just need to figure out what is what. I have no diagram to trust as they look different than what my car shows. I am confident I can repair anything thats broken I just need proper diagrams. For background I was QA for Sikorsky and Lockheed after 17 years of Aerospace avionics and electrical installs, mods, and repairs. All that is USELESS on a car LMAO. So I am lost but I am confident that when I do find the proper diagrams or help, I will be able to fix it myself instead of sending her off. Is there a bench test for the ECU? In my past we had bench test sets that you could hook a component to and it would test everything on it down to the electrical paths. For testing motherboards and such.If not then its smarter and cost effective to sent to ecu doctors. Already looking them up thanks.
I wonder if it's your ignition. Change out the back side of your ignition. I had similar issues and and figured was the the ignition. Switched it out a bam!
