I did. Brandon sent it to me to update my tune and fix a small tune related issue. It was a rental so I did not purchase one. I'm a total noob when it comes anything tuning related and have never done this myself but found it pretty easy to use. I am pretty decent with tech and was able to get it working, sent the existing tune to Slakker and then uploaded the new tune. There were a few minor things to get right so it talks to the car properly that took a few tries but nothing major. I used it on my 996.2 only. My experience was somewhat limited but positive in general. I likes the fact that it's small and worked with my phone.

Cool, maybe with the rental available its not locked to the car. Brandon a while back, said that they have made some improvements to the tiptronic tune for my Slakker 997, but was also needing some tune ability for my 996.1 as it progresses eventually into a Slakker build.

I believe the programmer is locked to a particular car but the lock can be removed. When I got mine, I had trouble getting it to connect so I texted Brandon and he was able to clear it. Once I tried again it worked right away. I believe they do this if it's a rental.
