Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I forget what code it was but went to that particular O2 sensor pulled it out cleaned off reinstalled it and haven't had an issue since.

I used these Bosch Universal O2 sensors on my '99 C2.

Suggestion
If you are getting cat inefficiency codes, then it's time to replace the cats.

Suggestion
You can "start" with replacing the O2 sensors but they too are expensive for Porsche.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Morning guys, i had my first CEL "moment"... Car was running normally. CEL came on solid, stopped and checked oil, gave it a quick lookover.
I took it to my indy the next morning, he said the CEL was for the catalytic converter. He cleared the code and said run it. About 50 miles later, it came back on. I'm assuming the cats are bad. (2002 C4Cab with 82k miles). Has anyone had to replace these? should i start with o2 sensors?
Thanks for any advice.
What codes are you getting ?
Some light reading:

If related to cat efficiency then you might want to try the following trick:

Scanner:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/FOXWELL-NT5...IAAOSwoeVdq38g
Sensors:

Then you can decide and plan your course of action.

Get the specific code. There are specific codes for the upstream and downstream 02 sensors and also for Bank 1 and Bank 2. Any auto store will read the code(s) for you for free, but usually won't reset it. Just get the specific code and report back. And do yourself a favor and buy an OBDII scanner. I have a simple scanner that I think I paid like $50. Works great to check and see what code it throws.
I used these Bosch Universal O2 sensors on my '99 C2. I took my time and did a clean install and they have been fine so far in over 10k miles.

It came back on after the plugs were installed. Does NOT come on as quickly and takes some time.
I will get an OBDII scanner. I also wonder if the codes need to be cleared since the plugs have been installed? Kind of like rebooting the O2 sensor sensitivity?
Also have an email in to Soul Performance. They have been very responsive so far.
My apology guys... somehow posted this to the wrong thread! I think it was showing below my 992 thread on this topic and I replied to the wrong one. Sorry to resurrect this thread.
I had the same thing on mine. I forget what code it was but went to that particular O2 sensor pulled it out cleaned off reinstalled it and haven't had an issue since.
