Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I was routinely inspecting the under carrage of my car when I notice a slight bit of moisture around this plate. What does this mean? Is it oil or coolant? Any info would greatly be appreciated. Thanks Michael

POST 2Original post

That's below the heat exchanger which has both oil and coolant going through it. as such you may need to replace the orings for the heat exchanger.

LOL, not that detailed. These are some pics I found on the net that clearly showed the area of the motor in question.

POST 6Original post

I think your question is - what is behind that plate? Coolant, and there is a gasket behind the lid/plate. Don't know the part number for the gasket. I'll try looking it up.

POST 7Original post

What's behind this plate? Answer - the recipe to Coca-Cola and/or the combination to the safe that contains the extremely rare Porsche silver horn crests.
