Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I can't wait, cleaned the car yesterday can't wait to get it dirty.
Leading evidence: 'Clean car yesterday can't wait' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Check pressures all around' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

Immediately after parking your car after the 1st run check the pressures all around.

This is also recommended for daily pressures per Porsche.

Porsche recommended tire pressures in the manual are to increase the life of the tire and for better fuel consumption.

Suggestion
To get better grip you need to run lower tire pressures which compromises the life and fuel consumption.

Suggestion
44 hot is okay if your not pushing it though they are slippery and tend to lose traction, if your starting out cold with 44 they will climb to max tire pressure and be very slippery you might as well be using hockey pucks.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

For DE's.......What I have learned was to run pressures at 36 front and 44 rear for the first run. This is also recommended for daily pressures per Porsche. Immediately after parking your car after the 1st run check the pressures all around. Deduct the difference and take away the amount of air from your tire prior to going on your next run. For ex. stock is 44 at the rear, you come off the track and the same tire is at 55 PSI. 55 - 44 = 11. Take 11 from the original PSI (44) to bring it to 33 than go on the track. The idea is try to get the PSI back to 44 (per the owners manual) while you are beating up the tires with heat. It really can be confusing and a bit of a game you play with your tires. Thats my take but I'm sure others will chime that have alot more info than me.
at the skills day you seriously wont have to worry about tire pressures other than what you run on the street... the "runs" only last 1-2 minutes and the tires wont see any build up of heat or presure.
dont get me wrong, you WILL have fun and having the tires inflated to "stock numbers" is important
When you get there you will feel a little "out of place" and timid... nervous... by lunch you will wonder why you got your undies all up in a bunch and just be smiling, laughing and having a BLAST !!
cold I start out with
28 F
32 R
hot
For best grip levels you want to keep them in the 34-38 range
34-36 F
36-38 R
Once the get higher then 38, then start to be slippery.

Hey Tim... after all that talk I was bumped to Slalom station for the morning... watch for me (director)
I think it may have to do with me taking the kids...Bill may want to have a better sppot for them to be close (after you see the layout you will understand)
see ya there!! while you are in ground school I will give the course a thourough testing
I can't wait, cleaned the car yesterday can't wait to get it dirty.
Ed, what time do you leave to be there by 7:30 i haven't been out there before.
BTW 405 is closed this weekend in Renton, take 520 or 90 over to 5 to avoid the mess.
I leave Bellevue at 6:00 and drive like a freaking maniac.... till I hit I-5 then nothing but spot on speed limit.. they will be out in Fife, the narrows bridge and out toward Bremerton for sure, on the way home... same story.... cops will be out (I get there right at about 7:15 admittedly early, but I help set up too) You wont sleep tonight so just head out at 1:00am or so
LOL
take $4 cash for the toll bridge... it makes it fast getting thru
you wont wash the car for your second event
I never wash before... it always comes home a mess
tired??
8:20 - I just pulled into my house... I am beat (quiet ride home with 2 sleeping kido's)
great meeting you today... hope to see you again soon !
Yea I'm beat, but man was it worth it. It was great meeting you and thanks again to you and all the other volunteers and instructors, I think I speak for all first time drivers it a fun time and you guys are a great help.
It's crazy how much more capable my 996 is than I am.
It's going to be fun trying to catch up with it.
Here's a pic of me in the small Autocross corse.
Thanks Steve,
I speak to them alot about the right places to do things.... nothing wrong with wanting to drive, and drive fast.... just must be done with lots of training at a closed circuit track...
I have also spoke a lot about other dangers of growing up and hope when they are faced with choices they know how to make the right ones... I alway say, its ok to do things, just make sure doing them doesnt kill you.
My neighbor boy drank some beer and they were shocked (he is freshman in college) I said... its normal to try things, but notice he isnt getting into a car or getting into a car with someone else... he's a good boy and haviong a beer wont kill him... getting into a car with the same beer might....
truth be known... I am the one that took the pic of the vette showing them "how to use the camera"
followed by the "Dad, I took some good ones, but didnt push the button"
glad a few turned out inthe end
