Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
Cleaning the mating surface is tedious due to lack of space.
Leading evidence: 'Clean mating surface is tedious due' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Clean mating surface is tedious due' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

It happens on the gt3 system too because it uses a cooler too.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Hello,
On the box there is a valve which is originally closed.
Controlled by vacuum via a solenoid valve.
I was wondering, when starting, this valve closes so as not to immediately bring fresh LDR to the box or does it remain open and activate later?
And maybe someone have the plan to see where all the little pipe go ? I suppose I have something wrong with this because my Engine temp is very very very long to warm.
THANKS
The tiptronic gearbox is the same as Mercedes 722.6.

That is the bypass solenoid to the trans oil cooler on the tip. It shouldn't affect how long the engine is taking to warm up. I would be looking at the thermostat as it sounds as if it may be stuck open.
I just replaced mine and it's a pretty straight forward job. Cleaning the mating surface is tedious due to lack of space.
Not true its a well documented issue with the cooler bypassing coolant. It happens on the gt3 system too because it uses a cooler too.
Sorry i cant help on the valves opperation.
The disk valve is a vacuum controlled coolant valve that has an Electro-vaccum solenoid that controls it...
It closes the coolant to the Trans cooler/heat exchanger to help warm up trans oil faster, but if not working ( constantly open) it will cause the coolant temp to be slow reach normal operating temps also...
If not working it will cause a fault code on 996.2 cars ( fault code for coolant temp not reaching normal temp within the temp map time parameters) ...This code doesn't appear on early 996.1 cars due to the temp time map is not as sophisticated ....
To explain after resolve my problem.
When you turn on the car, the disc valve move to close the coolant passage. If he stay open, your engine will have low Temp during a long time and you will have a error on the board.
