Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, Ive just notice that my front right is sitting lower than the front left. Is is also causing the rest right to look lower thank left (I think). what seems to be the problem? Is replacing the front right strut the solution? Is the Bilstein B4 the OEM part for the strut? I am currently running on genuine struts all around. Thanks!

POST 2Original post

Pretty sure no OEM rear spring ever popped up the rear left of the car that high. I would bet something is wrong there.

Ive wanted to deal with the taller rear as well. What could be the cause? thanks!

POST 4Original post

What are you showing us with the pictures of the struts? What repairs, replacements were made here with the struts? If I click on one of the pictures, there are 31 pictures behind it.

POST 5Original post

Gotta see what's in there. If it's a stock suspension, you have old springs & mounts. Agreed with @circuit.heart that the rear seems high. When I changed to coil-overs I first measured the chassis to ground. It had already lost 10mm of height from being old. Here's mine just before coil-overs. The rear is a bit high. Maybe we are so used to looking at these cars with other suspensions, we've lost track of 'original'

POST 6Original post

Struts have zero effect on height unless the perch is damaged. The first thing i would do is measure the ride height on a flat surface. A lower FR will raise RL. These are the points you do that.

POST 7Original post

Better check your springs and their positioning. Could be a broken right front spring. Jack it up and look for that and any other causes. Definitely room for improvement.
