Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

They have them for lower sale price while they last (I guess)...replaced with 6000 & 8000 units.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

...continuing to replace front wheel carriers, axles, CV joints, brake pads, etc. One task is today is to try-out new QJ 7000TL. BTW, QJ is discontinuing the 5000TL & 7000TL size units. They have them for lower sale price while they last (I guess)...replaced with 6000 & 8000 units. (Look at QJ internet site)
However, another problem. The passenger seat belt is "locked" for some reason. I don't know why. I can't pull it in either direction because there is no "play" there. This Seat-Belt Lock happened once B4 on driver side, then mysteriously cured-unlocked itself somehow. I had to drive with psgr seatbelt clicked into driver slot to turn off bells and warning light, not fun on a long trip.
What is causing the seatbelt to lock in the retractor? Is there some simple fix for this seatbelt problem? I work on suspension, brakes, wheels, W/P, hard stuff but seem to get beat on interior.
I wanted to deal with seat not folding (missing the lever) and now the seatbelt adds to the mix.
comments, suggestions?
There is a lever that locks the gear. It swings foward when u hit the brakes. This must be engauged. U can unbolt the top to slack the belt or unbolt the bottom and tilt the retractor while slacking the belt to free it up.
I fought the tight spaces and the non-tilting-forward seat. I managed to unbolt seat belt at seat base. This created enough slack to be able to let belt release the "lock-part" so seat belt works OK now. When I snapped off the seatbelt upper cover on B-pillar, the little pieces went flying. Lost one small part. Screw it, put it back together in lowest position and call it good. Cover is on but missing the one part. I'll live with it.
Looking for the Flying Part (didn't find it), I found an old original seat back tilt button. It is different from a new one I bought. However, it snapped right in and works. Only one side, but a single button on either side raises the other side also. So, the Tilt-Forward problem is fixed.
I saved the pics of the upper cover parts and instruction how to put it together. Geeze, why does P have to make it so complicated? I could do without the nannies and electric frunk, lid, inside glovebox gizmos, rain sensing wipers - turn on to soon, scratch the W/S, wreck wiper blades, and so on. I'll live with it.
YMMV
So a search for the 6-gt3 seat belt adjusters for the upper attachment section. They r cheap amd much easier to install. There is a thread ot 2 out there. Maybe someone has it saved?
