What I really woulf like to do is extent the receiver attachement or use a a more flexible strap that allows me to thread the seatbelt through the seat hole.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I installed Euro GT3 seats in my 996 a couple of years ago and I removed the seat belt recievers attached to the seat because or the fact that the receiver was pretty tight between the seat and the console and was rubbing hard. As a result, I do my street driving with harnesses which is not safe without my head and neck gear. What I really woulf like to do is extent the receiver attachement or use a a more flexible strap that allows me to thread the seatbelt through the seat hole. Has anyone else come up with a solution? My car is in a major rebuild anyway and I want to fix this as well.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Now that is interesting. However, I am trying to get something to extend the other end....the end that bolts into the seat bracket. Thanks though
