This is not a probability of success.

Don't get me wrong, I like the change aesthetically, but you've turned it into nothing more than a boulevard cruiser now.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Brilliant! Do you have before and after dynos? How much did it cost? Was that at the engine or flywheel? Does it match the manufacturer's claimed increase? Was it just peak or did you see the gain throughout the power band? Is that available for my C2? I have more questions but I'll let you answer those for now.
forget the technical specs I wanna hear about butt horsepower gains.
Can we agree on 45bhp to be a little understated, in true Porsche fashion?
Looks good btw
You first have to order it straight from Germany where it is hand made by Ferdi Einfahrt for a fair price of $1000.
Wonder where they get the red dye? ekkkk
+996 No way it doesn't kill the Cd. You're gonna feel it at higher speeds. Don't get me wrong, I like the change aesthetically, but you've turned it into nothing more than a boulevard cruiser now. My suggestion is to strip out the entire interior to drop weight. Remove the AC compressor. Lose the stereo. Strip the headliner. And while you're at it, change the IMS bearing, RMS and clutch. Oh, and the AOS (duh).
^ Don't forget the underdrive pulley ^...and don't worry about the battery charging, the quicker throttle response is totally worth a dead battery once in a while
Run the car with one quart of oil instead of nine, and regularly clean the resulting metal shavings out of the oil sump. This is a proven weight-loss technique for the 996.
In addition to reducing the mass of those pesky rod and main bearings, you'll also increase the bore size...eventually, you'll be able to install larger pistons. I count that as a win!
