Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

12 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • Rennlist: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 7Original post

Sweet! I'm envious ... dunno about emissions, but I'm pretty sure that wouldn't pass a visual inspection here in NY.

The system works great, no problems at all! I have done some track driving with the car and many people comment on how much they love the sound and that it sounds like a real cup-car. I have vacum valves on the muffers for turning the sound down and these have worked without any problem. If I turn the valves on the car sounds like a sewing machine, barly any sound at all and more quiet then original.

Thanks for getting back to me and glad to hear it is still holding up great. I couldn't wait for your comment so I went ahead and ordered the DesignTek muffler for my 997 while it was on sale plus the British pound was dropping 10+% against the Canadian dollar due to Briexit... I have it installed for 2 weeks now and I like it a lot, it's not too loud and just the right volume & tone for me. It is louder than OEM but quieter than PSE, build quality is pretty good. The DesignTek muffler did have a slight fitment problem (1.5 mm too small) with my OEM S tips but that was easily fix by my installer. Design911 was good enough to offer a discount for my trouble so I am pretty happy with them too .

POST 10Original post

The exhaust system sounds really good. I am intrested to buy the same system. Can someone provide a link to the system where it is possible to buy it?

POST 11Original post

I ordered mine from http://www.design911.co.uk/ (no affliation) Here's a short clip.... like I said, it is louder and lower tone than stock but not as loud as PSE You Tube

POST 12Original post

Thank you for your answer. I think i want to have the complete system with headers, sport cat and mufflers to get the real race sound like the 996 in the youtube clip had.
