Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

i am planning to install the pss10's on my 2000 c2 with 27k miles, i am curious what else i should buy, prep, replace while i am doing this? i guess at least the strut bearings but anything else?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

dang the oem rear strut mounts are expensive, are there any alternatives that are cheaper? seems for the fronts the lemforder ones are ok

POST 4Original post

If you are lowering it you will want adjustable rear toe arms. I have two extra sets if you are interested.

POST 5Original post

Check out http://www.gaudinporscheparts.com/ . They discount 15-30%

POST 6Original post

where are you located, geographically speaking? I may want your takeoff front struts.

POST 7Original post

As stiffer suspension will put more stress on everything else , fresh bushes (all of them) is a good idea , I used the power flex purple road bushings all around . But even if you just go through and replace any worn ones with stock , it's a good idea

POST 8Original post

When replacing struts and lowering vehicle, make sure you loosen all control arm bushing bolts to relax those bushings. When suspension is loaded then tighten bushing bolts for good centering.

POST 9Original post

There is also a mark on the control arm to align it in the loaded position so you can jack up the arm and tighten it without a wheel
