I've had some good luck with Vivid Racing, although they seem to have abandoned their Canadian site (I had free shipping for my Fabspeed intake from them, but they've changed since).

I use pelican and a few of the others , then drive down and pic them up.

I've used pelican lots but for a few simple things like you are looking for try autopartsway.ca.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
13 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

Well I guess a question for anyone really.
Where is the best place for parts? Do you guys still use Pelican when ordering stuff if you reside in Canada?
I need to replace the coolant res. and a coil on cylinder #1 ( coolant was dripping down onto it and is causing arcing). I can only seem to find a genuine Porsche coolant res. for $160 US. Thought there was some aftermarket ones as well.
Just wasn't sure how much shipping would be and was wondering if there was a Canadian alternative.
Shipping is atrocious (think minimum $50 per order).
Expect $20 - $60 in duty; this is especially true with FEDUPS and DHL. Some people get lucky with shipping USPS (Canada Post), as they don't have the manpower to tax everyone, but they always catch my packages.
I usually make 1-2 Pelican orders per year, given their ease of ordering, finding parts, etc. I've had some good luck with Vivid Racing, although they seem to have abandoned their Canadian site (I had free shipping for my Fabspeed intake from them, but they've changed since).
World Motorsports shipped to me for FREE, OVERNIGHT, with DHL (ARE YOU LISTENING EVERY OTHER US DISTRIBUTOR THAT SHIPS TO CANADA!??!!). There was still the usual duty, but, dayum. If they only carried more.
If all else fails I'll go to ECS.
Always get a quote for OEM parts from your dealer... if you only need 1-2 items, their premium will probably be cheaper than shipping + duty.
Finally - be skeptical of Canadian "Dealers" of US performance parts (think Fabspeed, AWE, Tarett, etc.). They may be an "authorized dealer", but their Price = (US Price * Exchange) + Shipping + Duty + Markup + Tax.
This thread links a bunch of Canadian suppliers.

With the current exchange rate, ridiculous shipping costs, and brokerage fees, it would have to be an extremely good deal to make it worthwhile shipping from US sadly. Having a US shipping address or using a freight forwarder (like Kinex) is an option that works if you are near a border.
He is in Vancouver - there are a few post offices in Point Roberts which is US just over from Tsawwassen.
At least that way US shipping is way cheaper - you will still have to declare it to CBSA as you cross and they might or might not let you off with the tax depending on which way the wind is blowing that day.
I have used these guys.

Shipping prices to Canada has seem to skyrocket in the past few years. I usually ship to an US address on the border for my Canadian customers and it usually ends up cheaper.

I've used pelican lots but for a few simple things like you are looking for try autopartsway.ca. Pretty sure I got my coolant res from them the other year and price was good.
i do ecommerce and Canada post is the cheapest shipper by far for Canadians. Fedex, UPS, DHL cannot touch their pricing.
I got most of my parts from my parts supplier here in Ottawa or the dealer. Dealer was less money on many occasions than going to pelican or warehousee33, or autoatlanta (after exchange, duty, taxes and shipping is included)
What I would is look for the manufacturer on the pelican site and call my parts guy and give him the part #. He would call the rep for the manufacturer and they would cross reference the parts # and find my part that way.
I'm located in Edmonton and just picked up a 99 C2. I'm sure in the next while I'll have some parts to order for sure to catch up on the usual maintenance items. Spark plugs and tubes, Water Pump, possibly an AOS, etc.
I use pacific mail & parcel in Blaine , ( some shippers charge a premium for point Roberts )

I couldn't get tires in 18" that the 996 takes anywhere in Vancouver , so I ordered them and shipped them to Blaine no problem . Also a turbo bumper cover , so bigger items are no problem
