Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I need someone to update the mileage on my gauge cluster after doing a manual swap on my 996.2. Does anyone have a lead on someone that can do this? I do have PIWIS 3 but have not found out where to make the VIN and mileage change that updates the cluster. TIA

POST 2Original post

Can't change mileage on 996 cluster with PIWIS unless the mileage on the cluster is less than 100 miles. I believe I sent my cluster to Palo Alto Speedometer to get the odometer matched when I did my manual swap.

POST 3Original post

I sent mine to Palo Alto speedo as well. Youll have to provide some documentation and a copy of your license.
