Read evidence and context
Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
It was an unnecessary ordeal because all four struts needed to be dissassembled in order to replace the mounts.
Leading evidence: 'Replace mounts' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace mounts' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Ditto. I ordered some of their small parts for Cayenne and some 996 tuning forks pre-COVID. I sent them back both times. I doubt theyre improved since. Im still surprised Pelican carries them.
Buyer beware. I had a very negative experience with Hamburg Technic strut mounts. Thinking I could save money, I bought front and rear Hamburg Technic upper strut mounts. While torqueing them to the correct specs of 24 ft lbs front, 34 ft lbs rear, all six of the rear studs spun in the mount and two of the six front studs broke. Cheap, soft steel. Pelican stepped up and refunded my cost (with a store credit, not a cash refund) and I bought the OEM Porsche mounts, which I should have done in the first place. It was an unnecessary ordeal because all four struts needed to be dissassembled in order to replace the mounts. Getting the six spun studs removed was a nightmare that took two of us to do. The Pelican sales rep told me that they had had numerous problems with Hamburg Technic products. I, too, am surprised Pelican still carries Hamburg Technic products.
I'm not one to immediately dismiss anything made in China as crap but when it's brakes or suspension/steering, I try to stick with Lemfoerder, Meyle and Febi.
True if you buy aftermarket
I believe you can avoid buying Chinese parts by purchasing OE Porsche.
Theres not a single Porsche part Ive bought that was made in China.
