These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I know I had a small PS leak from a hose that my Indy told me he changed the oil out, told me to watch it and fill it as needed. Well today I think its getting worse. I checked to see if I need to fill out and started to see oil on hoses, and the underside of the rear lid. I did clean up the lid since the smudge was all over it that area. Can someone tell me what hose in the diagram is the main hoses that fails on these 996s?

POST 2Original post

On mine, it was 996-347-443-11 that I had to replace. Not sure what it is in the diagram, but thats the number in my email receipt from autohaus. Not a cheap part, but easy enough to replace. Be careful with that part 25 and 26 assembly. Those old plastic bits are brittle.

On the diagram its #17 thanks for the input....Seems that is the part I have researched that everyone seems to replace

POST 4Original post

Agreed. They get old and then start to leak. A year ago i had my indy replace both the high pressure and low pressure lines. 996-347-443-10 and 996-347-441.
