This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 3Original post

Traditional painting is what I would go with for Al rims. I have seen people powder coating the wheels and they warpped under stress since the painter used too high of curing temperature.

This. Paint is typically preferred. Even BBS states to paint not powdercoat. HRE will powdercoat but they have a specific process.

POST 5Original post

It's your car so do what you like but since you're asking I would say don't do it. There are a few down here that have black claws and to me it looks like $hit on the car.....leave them the OEM color.

POST 6Original post

Just my own opinion, but I think what you have looks great in Black. not sure the claws will look as good int he same colour. Good luck. Send pics whatever you decide to do.

POST 7Original post

Black 'swallows' the styling of the wheel, leaving each black wheel look the same from 10ft away. The picture above shows it nicely. I would leave them as is but when changing colour I'd always go for paint.

Looks like Demuro's taste in wheels is more manure than demuro ........ He actually likes that BMW wheel that has less style than a dogs bowl...

POST 10Original post

No offense intended Lobster Forks/Claws are controversial

POST 11Original post

I used to hate the looks of lobster forks on 996es. But theyve started to grow on me. I think they look best in silver on a silver car.
