Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Recently picked up a 996 with MPSS tires 235/40/18 front and 265/40/18 in the back. I'm not super familure with the MPSS tires so I wanted to see what others here are running for street pressures. Should I just run the stock pressures indicated on the hood sticker? Thanks.

POST 2Original post

Stock pressures are fine on the street. 40 psi hot seemed to work on the track.

POST 3Original post

I always found stock pressure too high for street - back off by 3-4 pounds front and rear. Track 36/38 hot worked well for me.

POST 4Original post

Street, 32/39 is what I run. Still very hard, but I don't want to back off anymore.
