The black or red paint-fill contrasts very nicely against the white Delrin.

We have a LIMITED production run of WHITE DELRIN shift ***** available now!

With the extended shaft, a single set screw on the right side of the shaft will be visible at the center of the shaft (that was required to allow for the raised **** height).

Hey guys, just wanted to give you a sneak peek of my new shift **** lineup - the CLASSIC SHIFT ****.
As you can see, there are a multitude of combinations. The ***** come in either aluminum (black or silver) or black Delrin. Shafts are available in standard height, or an extended version to raise the **** 1.5 to 2 inches above stock.
Full details to follow soon, but I'd be happy to answer any questions in the thread. Thanks!
Hey guys, sorry for the delayed reponse.
I'll have the product page up on function-first.com next week with full details - ready for sale then.
At this point, there's no shift pattern available. I will look into that, however, and if possible, it would likely have to be a special order.
The aluminum pieces are anodized clear for the silver CSK, and satin black for the black CSK. I know some of the silver comes out as polished in the pics due to the reflected light, but the clear anodize is more of a satin silver. (It's a pretty good match to the interior door pulls and glovebox handle.)
The shift **** weights are as follows...
Standard Shaft
Delrin: 169g
Aluminum: 240g
Extended Shaft
Delrin: 231g
Aluminum: 302g
Here's a quick pic of the standard shaft on a 987 shift boot. With the standard shaft, both set screws are hidden from view. With the extended shaft, a single set screw on the right side of the shaft will be visible at the center of the shaft (that was required to allow for the raised **** height).

Here are some pictures showing the
CLASSIC SHIFT ****
- Extended version (Silver base / Black Delrin ****) - installed in my 996, with the Console Riser Kit. In that configuration the shifter is up high and close to the steering wheel, yielding some quick shifts!
And here is one additional pic showing the tops of the shift *****. I'll be offering the option to get the shift pattern engraved on top, as a special order item. I'll post a CAD rendering and pricing once all details are finalized, so stay tuned! I will also offer a white Delrin ****, so please let me know if there's any interest in that option.

Just got mine today. Opted for no shift pattern, standard height, silver.
I also didn't want to cut up the factory **** and boot, so I ordered a new boot frame from Pelican, and an alcantara boot off ebay. The boot matches the headliner, even though it doesn't look like it in the crappy picture.
Can't wait to take it out for a ride. I've always felt like the biggest let down of this car has been the shifter feel, combined with that awful shape of the factory ****. Installed a 997 shifter a couple months ago, so this **** addition should complete the update.
